About the Vercel app
The Vercel app provides a shortcut for setting up Contentful’s previewing features including "Live preview" and "Preview in new tab" modes. "Live preview" mode allows editors to preview content in real time in the same page with the entry editor. As changes to content are made, they are immediately reflected in the preview.
App set up requires connecting your organization’s Vercel account and project, then configuring preview settings for each relevant content type. Once the app is set up, editors will see a button on their entry page sidebar that says "Open live preview," utilizing Vercel as the preview platform.
