Assignment of taxonomy

Assign taxonomy to an entry 

Once a content type has at least one taxonomy Content type validations added, entries of that content type can be assigned taxonomy concepts in the entry editor.

Limitations:

• You can add up to 10 concepts to an entry.

To assign taxonomy concepts to an entry: 

1. In the entry editor, select the “Taxonomy” tab and click + Add in the Concepts section. 

2. A taxonomy concepts side panel will appear where you can choose or search for concepts to add to the entry. 

3. In the menu displaying the hierarchy of concepts, select the box next to the concepts to add to the entry. 

Assign taxonomy to an asset

To assign taxonomy concepts to an asset:

NOTE: Assets do not need content type validations to assign a taxonomy concept.  All taxonomy concepts created within the organization are available for assignment to an asset.

1. In the asset editor, select the “Taxonomy” tab and click + Add in the Concepts section. 

2. A taxonomy side panel will appear where you can choose or search for concepts to assign to the media asset. 

3. In the menu displaying the hierarchy of concepts, select the concepts to assign to a media asset.
