Roles

Overview

In Contentful, roles are used to grant permissions for a group of users to see and perform tasks related to their jobs. When assigning roles to your users, you can control who can access and manage specific content. Roles can be assigned individually to a user, or at a team level.

Types of roles:

• organization roles

• space roles.

NOTE: Premium plan customers can also create custom roles which allows space admins to allocate a set of custom permissions to users.
