Accessibility Statement
Statement
Contentful is committed to ensure our products are accessible, designed, and built for everyone.
We continually improve our customer experience and apply the relevant accessibility standards to make the websites and apps accessible and easy to use.
Measures to support accessibility
Contentful takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of websites and apps:
Including accessibility to our internal policies. For example, our standard pull request template requires the developers to pay attention and verify the accessibility whenever new features or changes are released.
Appointing accessibility officers to audit and guide developers and designers.
Doing manual and automated tests internally and externally.
Providing continual accessibility training for our staff including engineers and designers.
Assigning clear accessibility targets and responsibilities.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Contentful is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA and is working on being fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level A and level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We have also applied some Level AAA Success Criteria, however, Level AAA is not our target.
