# Create a resource provider

PUT https://api.contentful.com/organizations/{organization_id}/app_definitions/{app_definition_id}/resource_provider
Content-Type: application/vnd.contentful.management.v1+json

Creates a resource provider for an app; each app can have only one. The `function.sys.id` in the request must match `functions[0].id` in the app's manifest.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

- `organization_id` (string, required) — The ID of the organization
- `app_definition_id` (string, required) — The ID of the app definition

This endpoint expects a map from string to any.
