# FAQ

> Answers to common questions about the design system import CLI, including deletions, credentials, and agents.

### Does importing delete unincluded components from Contentful?

No. Components that are in Contentful but not in your import are skipped, not deleted. The summary before the push lists them as skipped.

The only exception is an empty import. If you exclude every component and confirm, the import deletes all component types in that environment. It warns you first.

### I skipped credentials. Can I push later?

Yes. The import still saves `components.json`. Set up your credentials, then push the file:

```bash
experiences setup
experiences apply components.json
```

### Do I have to use Claude?

No. The CLI supports four coding agents: `claude`, `codex`, `opencode`, and `cursor`.

* To choose a default, run `experiences setup`.
* To pick one for a single run, pass `--agent <name>`.

See the [Command reference](/developers/docs/experience-orchestration/import-design-system/command-reference).

### Where is the debug log?

Turn on debug logging in the preferences menu of `experiences setup`. The CLI then writes a log of each step of your import, including agent calls, filter decisions, and push actions. Secrets are hidden.

### How do I check that my environment is ready?

Run `experiences doctor`. It checks your Node.js version, pnpm, and coding agent.
